With more than 20 years’ experience in real estate, François is a Partner and Head of the Real Estate practice at PwC Legal. He advises Belgian and foreign REITs on all types of real estate transactions and related matters, including financing aspects.

He also advises Belgian and foreign private companies and public authorities on strategic town planning and environmental issues and complex litigations issues.

François has been involved in various transactions involving real estate assets; financing structures including leasing, purchase and sale of properties; construction law and litigation. His involvement included the takeover and merger of real estate investment trusts; real estate securitisation; real estate acquisitions and mergers of many (real estate) companies for Dutch, German, UK or US investment trusts; real estate transactions for national and international developers; real estate transactions for private, institutional and public investors; and private equity, i.e. real estate transactions and post-acquisition litigation, including arbitration.

François is fluent in French, English and Dutch.
